Football fans in Cardiff and the Vale will be treated to a unique Champions League final weekend with the announcement that a fanzone is planned for the area at the Vale Sports Arena on June 3.
That same weekend, arguably the greatest footballer in the world, Pele, will also be at the Vale Sports Arena on June 2.
The unique fanzone will provide the chance to enjoy the event on a giant screen and take in the match atmosphere.
The fanzone is aimed at families and to ensure local children are inspired by arguably the biggest sporting event to hit Wales.
The arena will also have giant screens, opportunities to have your photo with the Champions League trophy, singers, a licensed bar and cafe, entertainment and the 3G pitches will be available for families for free.
Peter Griffiths of the Vale Sports Arena said: “We are keen for the people of the area to sample the unique experience of having this huge sporting event in Cardiff.
“We aim to provide an opportunity for the community to get behind the event and join in the celebration and this festival of football.”
